Bespoke Single Phase Transformers, Dual Coil

Single phase transformers constructed on ‘UI’ (dual coil) laminations with concentric windings on the coil former(s). Commonly wound over the whole former with a safety earth screen between the windings, alternatively it could be on a split bobbin format without screen. Autotransformers follow a similar construction but have a single winding with no safety earth screen.

Insulation Class :	F, H or Class 200 on request
Ambient Temp. :	Max 40°C as standard. Others on request
Temperature Rise :	Dependant on size

For transformers enclosed in high IP rated boxes i.e. non-ventilated, the size of both the transformer and the enclosure has to increase to avoid overheating. Dimensions on request.

Units with voltages greater than 700V up to 11kV can be manufactured however the insulation requirements of these transformers will require a larger build size for the specific rating.
Units can also be designed and manufactured with ratings up to 2MVA.
