Current Transformer - Encapsulated Slip-Over

Multiple current transformers can be encapsulated within a single mould using polyurethane resin, providing weatherproofing for permanent outdoor installation and robust protection. All secondary terminations are housed within an IP65 terminal box to allow for suitable glanding of your cables.

Several mould shapes available. Internal diameter (hole) 50mm, 65mm, 75mm or 100mm. Modification of our standard moulds for different dimensions may be possible.

These are ideal for neutral applications where there is only limited voltage potential between primary and secondaries, the insulation level is a nominal 0.72/3.0kV

These represent excellent value compared to the epoxy cast types, being approximately half the cost. It may be beneficial to utilise these for other applications where epoxy cast types were being considered, by using a cable or bushing as the primary conductor which provides the necessary voltage insulation for your system.
